Lights..the great debate!

Hope you all had a VERY MERRY Christmas!  Part of me cannot believe this special day has already come and gone, but thankfully with still a week off from work and lots of fun friends and out of town family still ahead of me I am still fully in the Holiday spirit, not to mention an upcoming celebration of a new year and a Birthday too!

Due to the fact my life made it one of their missions over the last few days I have seen more Christmas lights this year than I have in quite some time, and because of this I would like to ponder a question.. Do you do colored lights or just white, or do you do the mix?

and have any of you ever seen a christmas light show sync'd to music?  I saw a house in South FL this year which completely blew me away!!

So you haven't been keeping up with the current countdown..what is wrong with you?  Well don't you worry its not too late..you still got a little over two days!

Its that time of YEAR!!!

Can you believe it.. as I imagined Christmas has once again snuck up on me!  Although I will say I do think I've done a pretty good job enjoying this month and crossed off a few of my to-dos for the holiday season!

This past weekend I was in Charlottesville and went to the most beautiful wedding at a vineyard, the holiday decor was down-played but yet gorgeous and the streets and shops of Charlottesville were so quint, definitely a perfect little getaway!  And now as I am unpacking and repacking, I am in FULL Christmas mode!  I am thrilled to be returning to SUNNY and WARM FL this year!  We usually go to Chicago for the holidays which I love, but the beach couldn't be calling may name any louder this year!

So here is to a BEACHY Christmas!!

and may you all have a wonderful Holiday spent with families, friends and loved ones!

and of course, lots of delicious hot cocoa!

not sure how many of you saw the reveal on the Today show yesterday but when they started listing all the others on their short list, I did have to agree that the all around most influential and to-be influential person of 2011 were and is the protestors.. agree or disagree its up to you..
