GRAMMYS 2012

first and foremost as the world knows and remembers one must start any post about the 

2012 Grammys with the overwhelming sweet and yet devastating 

remembrance of a TRUE star.. WHITNEY HOUSTON!

Her songs, her legend and her voice will forever be a part of our lives.. and not to be over the top.. I do have to say her death did deeply sadden me as I remember belting out her songs in my bedroom and bathroom growing up.. I'M EVERY WOMEN.. 

As much as we could leave it at that.. as a fashion blogger we have got to discuss some of the ever so or shall I say not so surprising fashions of Grammys 2012..

and of course I will start off with some of my WORSE dressed.. minus one in particular..

and now onto some of the more surprising ones I actually really did like..

Ok so I will be the first to admit, she wasn't a FAVORITE but I was shockingly 

impressed by Paris..

Giuliana just looked gorgeous..not too much but just enough 

(btw this isn't her best picture..on E! she looked great..

and her arms are amazing..just saying!)

although I thought slightly under-played especially for all the awards she knew she would be getting.. she looked amazing!

so even from this picture and definitely from E! pre-show there was some major tension between two of my faves! hopefully it was just a little limo disagreement..

as I said.. WORST dressed... come on Fergie.. its called a SLIP

oh Katy, I love you.. and I know your suffering thru the divorce.. 

but really unless your preggers with a little baby boy.. there is NO reason to be wearing this color.. sorry i still love you..but NOT in this and the hair, yes its the Grammys but.. NO... its not working

purple grey is NOT in.. give it up.. Fashion police.. 

your OWN employees need some help!

so as I said.. Taylor Swift did it right this time.. she looked elegant and quite sophisticated if I could say so myself.. 

and Carrie, not that your not always gorgeous but once again I thought you looked great!

and last but NOT least.. my two FAVORITES of the show were these two! 

LOVED Kelly Rowland.. thought she looked gorgeous!

and Rihanna.. well what can I say did she not just turn ever man's head 

but also every woman's head! 

Minus the hair which I thought could of been a little better.. she looked amazing!

What to Wear Wednesdays... HATS?!

So it is Wednesday..and I am actually able to do a WTWW on Wednesday..how exciting, right!

anyways due to our awfully YUCKY weather we have been experiencing today I thought instead of being oh so inspiring and looking super cute, I thought why not try out a fashion that can help one look cute even in the worse weather conditions.. HATS!

I will be the first to admit I am NOT a big hat person, however after a few years of living in a cooler climate I am starting to give into that whole..winter hat look! although I still haven't perfected it!  

However here are a few that have..

and for those warmer months.. that I do hope will be coming sooner than later..

I am also a HUGE fan of the derby hat and hats at the beach, best kind of sun protection!

and of course.. we can't forget the very best hats around.. (right!)
