Well I would first like to thank all of my dear friends and family who supported me from near and afar in my race yesterday! I was able to not only complete it, but killed the time I initially sought after!
Although I did start off slower, I was feeling great by mile one and decided to get going, I ran the majority of the race at about 9:15 pace and then when I hit mile 7 speed things up and was able to pretty much sprint out the last mile! I would lie if I said I feel completely awesome today, a little sore but ready to get back into it! So thanks again for all the support!
Next is my absolute delight in the current weather we have today, although I am ecstatic that I have had to spend the majority of the day inside I was able to get for a little bit and enjoy one of these after not having one for months!
Don't you worry I only had one!! Oh and how much I forgot how delicious they are!!
Another favorite thing about today is my current outfit! I wore a cheerful bright striped shirt today, thanks to a few recent purchases at H&M! It really is true when they say if you were bright colors it can bring you more happiness!
And finally my day would not be complete without a mention of what is known as to be quite the BIG GAME this evening.. (although sadly my Gators are not in it)
BUTLER Vs. UCONN!
Although it hurts to say it because they beat my Gators, gotta root for the BullDogs!
