Organized?

So as some of you may remember, one of my 11 New Year's goals was to get Better Organized!  And although I will not say I have become any worse, my betterment on this particular goal hasn't been quite up to par!  So I am declaring today's post not only to my reader's enjoyment but also hopefully for some self inspiration!

Thanks to the Container Store, we can all get organized easily and "very cute-ly" if we just dig a little deeper in our pockets!  Yes, I admit they may not be as cheap as Walmart or Target but there ideas and products are pretty genius and if your like me convenience sometimes overlooks the price tags! 





Whether you work out of home or actually in your office, I highly recommend their products!! I am very lucky in the sense that my boss LOVES organization so my desk at the office does stay quite neat!  Although my home "office" or shall I say dresser/ desk/ junk area is not so much!  

When I just moved away from college I knew I needed to at least stay organized in my bills if nothing else..at this time I invested in a great portable filing container..meanwhile a year and half later things don't always get filed away as timely as I may of always intended..




Thanks to the blessings of having lived in apartments both having ridiculously LARGE walk in closets I have managed to keep mine pretty organized!  Especially now with a girl's DREAM shoe closet to match!

I will say that in the past months I have learned the importance of spending those few extra bucks and buying "nice" hangers!  I adore the "huggable" hangers they are PERFECT and your clothes will never see the ground again (well unless you forget to actually hang them)

I also love the multiple skirt hangers (all in one) these are any and every closets best friend for saving space!  Even with a large walk in there's always a need for more space!

What To Wear Wednesday! (WTWW) White & Gray!

Although its more of a GRAY day then White, the gloomy-ness of this day inspired me for today's What To Wear!

As many of you know I am not only a fan of denim (for multiple reasons) but also am a very big fan of white especially during those few months I'm "allowed" to wear it!

Here's a ton of celebs whom have already caught onto the trend of the gray with white denim! Its easy, fresh and still can looked pulled together without much effort!




See even our newest royalty is sporting these look! Pair it with either a more casual ballet flat or spice things up with a nude heel, like Hilary!

Loving Michelle Williams tucked in look!  I love how this young mom, makes her looks easy and wearable but still very stylish! (extra love for the Ray Bans!!)



And for all my male readers, just when you thought I had given up.. here's some fun looks you may want to try this summer.. White denim for men..

Kate's spring favorites!

HELLO SUNSHINE & SPRINGTIME!

Although my current wardrobe is quite this fun, due to 30 degree temps, Kate Spades new arrivals can make any blue and cold day seem that much more springy!  Thanks for the bright outlook!

Fit Fridays!!

Do YOU want to lose an extra 30%?  with OUT putting in any more time or effort? Wake up and WORKOUT!  



MORNING WORKOUTS!

As soon as you wake up in the morning workout for at least 30min to an hour. Studies show that working out in the morning has been shown to burn up to 3x as more fat as opposed to working out at any other time during the day. 

During the day your body’s main source of energy is the carbohydrates that you get from eating your meals. As you sleep at night for 6+ hours your body uses up all those carbohydrates as energy for various bodily functions that go on even while you sleep. When you wake up in the morning your body doesn’t have any carbohydrates as energy to use and it will look to burn body fat instead for energy.




For you to take advantage of this morning fat burning opportunity you have to exercise first thing in the morning. Don’t eat breakfast because if you do you’ll just give your body some carbohydrates as a source of energy instead of the body fat that you want to burn for energy.

Another great thing about working out first thing in the morning is that your metabolism gets revved up after your morning workout. Morning workouts keep your metabolism elevated throughout the day. An elevated metabolism throughout the day only means that you’ll burn more calories and lose more weight. If you workout at night you may still burn fat while you workout but as soon as you go to sleep your metabolism will slow down and you’ll miss out on all the extra fat that you can burn during the day if you had exercised in the morning. When you sleep your metabolic rate is always at its slowest.

Other reasons why it’s good to exercise first thing in the morning is that you get the workout out of the way, and working out in the morning will also reduce your level of stress throughout the day.




Just in case you need even MORE reasons see below:
You’ll actually do it. How many times a week does your day get away from you?  If you plan your first activity to be exercise then nothing can get in your way.  

Mentally prepare your day. Working out is great for clearing your head.  While you’re doing cardio you can work through an issue.

You’ll sleep better.  A study showed that those who exercised in the morning slept better.  Sleep is crucial to thinking clearly and to having optimal metabolism.  The same study showed that afternoon/evening exercisers didn’t sleep as well even if they got the same number of hours of exercise per week.

You’ll eat better. You just got up early to burn off a few hundred calories.  Do you really want to wreck all that work by diving into a doughnut at the office?  People who work out early are more likely to make smart food decisions the rest of the day.
