What To Wear Wednesday! (WTWW) the many shades of DENIM

As we all know denim jeans are about as "American" as one can get!  And hey why not, with the everlasting changes of versatile styles and ways to wear denim, plus the over all comfort of (most) denim pieces, it is a great staple for EVERY closet!

But as my readers know, What to Wear is NOT about just the staples, it is about new fun trends..and although denim is a staple in almost EVERYONE'S closet there are a ton of new and fun ways to wear these pieces, and for all those cowboy suit lovers, well the fashion world is welcoming you, just make sure you do it the right way!  For now we welcome the denim on denim, but there is a fine line, so beware!!

Take some style advice from my girl Cameron, who definitely knows the right when it comes to denim on denim!! Loving this relaxed look!

Here are some different denim pieces, all that I am sure we have seen and or own, but I dare you all to take some of your favorite denim staples and mix them up, in new ways!

 

The distressed jeans are a modern fun way, but match them with a funky cropped jacket and heels and your ready to go out on the town!

The daisy-duke!  Although I am not the biggest fan of the short-shorts, I will say if you got the right body and are either where its smoking hot or say the beach! these shorts are a must! But PLEASE whatever you do pair them with a more flowy NOT tight top, otherwise its just wayy too skimpy!

 

 

Huge fan of the skinny, dark pretty much have lived in mine all winter long! Especially loving Ashley O rocking her dark skinnies with a DENIM light weight button up!

Another great look for all ages and sizes, are the trouser fit jeans! I love that with these, and a nice shirt anyone can pull off the denim into the office, and guess what it wont even need to be denim Friday!  Banana Republic has some great styles right now, that are extremely flattering!

 

And for all those like myself, who are in-patiently waiting for Memorial day to break out some white, here is another favorite of mine, the white denim jeans! I love these with a beachy, top and some fun sandals for either a picnic on the weekend or a trip just around town!
