Fall Trends!!

As many of you know, this is NYC Fall Fashion Week, and with our very first taste of Fall here in DC I am loving the new fresh ideas and cannot wait to break out the below knee high boots, and jeggins!

Top Fall Trends from New York Fashion Week

What we saw on the runway in New York — conservative glamour, chic urban warriors, eccentric color combination's, and more — is getting us excited for fall. Pick a trend or two, and you're ready to shop.

Thanks to Harper Bazaar, I will give you all my top picks for the upcoming fall into winter!

1) Chic Urban Warrior! I am loving the fur, I still do not own any, but after last winter's (4 + feet of snow) I am considering it! Plus how luxurious does it look, plus here I love the luxury combined with the harsh black leather boots and smoky eye!

2) Great Outdoors! I love the outdoorsy feel that goes perfectly with the fall! After experiencing my first "real" Fall here, I am ecstatic about enjoying each colored leaf, and pumpkin latte! I am loving the tweed with the rigid lace up construction boot!

3) Conservative Glamour! This may just be one of my all time favorite looks! I am obsessing over camel colors this year, and I am currently on a mission to find the perfect camel color trench! I found and ordered a great one last year, but once it came in, I realized it was huge and I looked like a 200lb. wet rat in it!

4) Eccentric Ladylike, love these bright colors! As much as I love the warm browns, greys and oranges of the fall season everyone occasionally needs to brighten things up. Plus the icy blue and bright kelly green are such a fun way to bring those colors into the winter! (love this coat, although I'm not sure if I'm quite daring to wear something quite like that..but who knows :)

5) Bohemian Rhapsody! Winter white, yes! Ok, ok I know you are probably thinking this dress, plus 20 degrees, ya right! but you can totally rock a cute mini dress you just will need to pair it with some bright tights and a great coat for when your not on the dance floor! Already getting excited for all the holiday parties!!

So there you go! Hope you all got a little more inspired and excited for the new trends!! As always I believe in the classics of course, but it's definitely fun to add some new trends along the way!!

Happy Fall Friday! (sorry to all my lovelies in Florida, I know its still in the high 90s there, but you can always pretend, or come visit me :)

BTW: Running my first half marathon tomorrow, super excited and nervous! Will definitely fill you all in about it next week!

Have a wonderful weekend! And honor and remember those we lost tomorrow!
