Thankfully that relief has come, we got a nice taste of it over the first part of Labor Day weekend, which was delightful especially for my Floridian mother! We have since enjoyed cooler, much less humid days! It still is warming up nicely in the middle of the day but the mornings are brisk and the (earlier) evenings are cooling down as well!
This past Friday I had my true first Fall Indulgence! (pumpkin spice latte) its one of the few things I can honestly say I splurge when it comes into season at Starbucks! After running a few afternoon errands I spotted a Starbucks and became quite tempted with the cool breeze and the eagerness to see if my favorite drink of the season had arrived!
Then yesterday, after a full day of home-good shopping (which with my new apartment) I have started to LOVE doing (although my bank account doesn't love it soo much) we stopped by a supermarket to pick up some last minute supplies for our Sunday Night grilling! There I started my search for my 2nd favorite fall time indulgence.. Candy Corn, as I was about to give up on the search entirely I found myself standing near the check out line and saw the beautiful little stand, 10 for $10 bags of Brach's Candy Corn!! (don't worry I didn't buy all ten :)
May of caused me a minor stomach ache..but its always worth it!!!
