Grammy Nominations: New Year's Resolutions

Have you made your New Year's Resolutions yet?

Or how I like to call them is New Year's goals! As some of you may know I am a BIG believer in goals and setting them for yourself, both long and short term! I think it gives you an outlook and gives you certain "steps" to achieving those things that are the most important to you

Last year was my first year as being completely on my own, and a so-called adult, so I will never forget when I made my first set of "adult" resolutions/ goals for 2010!! A year later and I will admit that not EVERY single one was complete but many were either VERY complete or I had at least given them a "strong attempt" (aka my marathon)

Once looking back at this list and realizing what I truly had accomplished as well as those things that I didn't even know I could accomplish back a year ago (such as this blog) I felt a REAL sense of accomplishment!

I know especially since the last year and a half how FAST life really can go by, and if you don't set these types of goals then you can look back at your life 5, 10 years from now and wonder what really happened to it..

Although mine were written a day late (yesterday) I have come up with my 11 resolutions/ goals for 2011! (I was at 10 but thought it would be more appropriate to have 11)

Here is a few of mine for 2011

1. Study and take GMAT

2. Learn a new skill, whether its to knit or to try to learn a new language? I want to end 2011 with some sort of new hobby or skill!

3. Go somewhere new at least every week

5. Pay it forward, by reaching out to those whom either need your help or a complete stranger

6. Donate more of my time
